The Corrosive Challenge is taking a break for the holidays. We will return January 8th with new challenges and sponsors for 2012! We'd like to take a moment to thank all of you for your support this year! We love seeing your creations! To all our fabulous and generous sponsors - you are amazing and we couldn't run this challenge blog without you! I'd also like to thank our wonderful design team.... Linda, Debra, and Kellie, thank you for all you do, ladies! And lastly, I'd like to ask that everyone send some healing wishes to Susan of Susan's Crafty Chaos! She has been laid up with a broken leg and is very much missed here! Get well soon, Susan!

From all of us here at The Corrosive Challenge, Merry Christmas to you and yours! May your holidays be wrapped in the warmth of family and friends! And may your New Year be safe, happy, and bright!

Challenge #139 - Anything EXCEPT Christmas and Design Team Call

Welcome to our last Corrosive Challenge of the year! We will be taking a little hiatus for the holidays so the design team can enjoy time with family and friends and rest up for the wonderful things we have planned for you for 2012! Before we get to our new theme, though, I want to thank the few brave souls who attempted our "CASE a Design Team Member" challenge. Some of you really seemed to enjoy it!

Our winner for November is: Sarah of Aunt Bee's Pickles! You can see her adorable Pilgrim Sheep card here.
Sarah, you have won a $20 gift voucher from Inktegrity! You also have the opportunity to be our guest designer for January. Please contact Regan at charmed_stamping(at)charter(dot)net to make arrangements for your prize.

A new month means a new sponsor and do we have something fabulous lined up for you! We are proud to welcome Krista Smith of Saturated Canary digis (and Simply Sassy rubber stamps)! Krista is amazing and if you'd like to learn more about this dynamic wife, mother, artist, and fashion lover visit her blog Saturated Canary. Krista has generously agreed to provide our winner for this challenge with two Saturated Canary images of choice from her etsy.com shop.

And now on to our challenge! Is it me or does time seem to be going by faster these days? It seems like we just started the last challenge and *poof* it's over and time for a new one! The hustle and bustle of the holiday season always seems to have this effect, doesn't it? With all the planning and prep that goes into to our holiday festivities, we thought you might be on Christmas overload at the moment. After all that decorating, shopping, wrapping, baking, and assorted merry-making we thought you might be just a tad burnt out on all this 'tis the season fa-la-la-la la-la-la-la! So before you go bah hum bug on us, we're going to give you a crafty break from the holidays - an excuse to create "Anything EXCEPT Christmas"! That's right. No holiday stuff AT ALL. Nada. Zip. Zero. Give us birthday. Valentine's Day. Groundhog Day. Whatever your little hearts desire as long as it's NOT any of those December holidays.

We are also looking to expand our design team for 2012! If you love the Corrosive Challenges and want to work with some fabulous digi companies in the new year simply put "DT" after your name when linking your creation. Candidates selected will be notified via e-mail after January 1st to discuss details.

For this fortnight's challenge, the Corrosive design team ladies were lucky enough to each chose an image from Krista shop. Let's see what non-holiday creations they have for you:

Linda's adorable Queen of Hearts card will steal yours!

Regan created a Thinking of You card with the darling image Wispy, a Fairy.

Kellie's cute card uses the image Hot Cocoa, A (chilly) Ragamuffin.

This gorgeous snowy scene is Debra's project using A Winter Ragamuffin.

Challenge #138 - CASE a Design Team Member

Welcome to another Corrosive Challenge! Time goes by so quickly these days! It seems like our "Give Thanks" challenge just started and now it's time for a new one! Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun last time! This fortnight we have something a little different for you... We've all done it before - seen a card or project we absolutely loved and copied it. We even have an acronym for it: CASE (Copy And Share Everything). Well, they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? So for this fortnight we would love to see YOUR creations inspired by OUR creations. That's right the challenge is "CASE a Design Team Member"! In your post we ask that you tell us who you chose & why and what elements from their design you incorporated into yours.

We have a fabulous sponsor this month, Inktegrity, and owner Joni Wilson has offered up a generous prize of a $20 gift voucher to spend in her on-line shop for November's winner.

On a personal design team note, I just wanted to let you know that our lovely and talented Susan will be out of commission for an indefinite period as I learned today that she was admitted to the hospital yesterday with a broken leg and DVT. We are all sending her healing thoughts and hope she will be back to her crafting soon! Now, let's see what the rest of the design team has created for you:

Kellie has an enchanting Christmas card to share.

Regan's vintage card features two of her favorite things - flowers and bling!

Challenge #137 - Give Thanks

Hello and welcome to a new month of challenges at The Corrosive Challenge! Before we get to our new sponsor and our new challenge, I would like to thank everyone who joined us for our "With a Flourish" challenge! We have just been amazed at the participation we have been seeing, and we are so happy you are enjoying our challenges!

Our winner for October is: Julie Temple! Congratulations Julie, we love your witchy card :D
You get a fabulous prize from Doodle Pantry and Karen's Doodles! You also have the opportunity to be our guest designer for December! Please contact either Susan or Regan to make arrangements to receive your prize!

This fortnight the theme is "Give Thanks". For some that might mean Thanksgiving and turkey and football and family. To others, simply a thoughtful thank you card. Either way, we want to see them here! And we have a fabulous new sponsor and prize for you as well!

Our sponsor for November is Inktegrity:! Here is a little bit about the company from owner, Joni Wilson:

Thank you to the wonderful team here at Corrosive Challenge, I am so excited to be here!
First and foremost, I am a Christian who has been blessed with an amazing life. My husband and I have 6 children, ranging from 3 to 16 years old. Our 3 boys and 3 girls keep our hearts and scehdules full. My husband is currently in the Army (his job) and also coaches high school football (his dream career). Being a SAHM in a military world has taught me so much about myself and the importance of family, especially since I am so far away from my home state of Hawaii.
I have always loved drawing and wanted images that were user friendly, regardless of age, for my card making. At first I would send them to friends to play with when I started receiving emails asking when they would be available for purchase. I opened Inktegrity, a tiny digi company with a variety of digital images for crafters to use. My site can be found here, and although the blog has been on hiatus since my recent move, the inspiration is always a joy to peruse through!
One of my favorite things is meeting new friends in the blogging world. I love sponsoring challenge sites and meeting new friends who create with Inktegrity!

Joni has generously offered up a $20 gift voucher to her on-line shop as our prize this month so you'll want to join in the fun!

Now let's see what inspiration the design team has created for you this time!

Our guest designer for November is Jen from JLJDesigns and she's created this beautiful card to start things off.

Linda's card this week features a cute little squirrel from our sponsor, Inktegrity.

Kellie's has created a charming pocket card with the Pumpkin House image from sponsor Inktegrity.

Regan used the Fall Tractor set from sponsor Inktegrity to make this fun Fall card.

Susan has gone vintage this week with her Thank You card.

Debra has made a very cute Thanksgiving card for us this fortnight.

Challenge #134 Purple Passion

Hello... Regan here with your new Corrosive Challenge! We were just blown away with the response to our Punches and/or Dies challenge!!! Thanks to everyone who played along! It's the start of a new month, October - my favorite one of the year, and that means new sponsors and prizes so let's learn a little about them before we get to this fortnight's challenge.

First up, we have Doodle Pantry:

Here is a little blurb from owner/artist Laurie Wilson: "I am honored to be sponsoring the Corrosive Challenge this month! I hope you like the Corrosive team's creations using Doodle Pantry images and are inspired to play along. Doodle Pantry has a variety of image styles and characters and even some templates. I would be honored if you stopped by and grabbed a freebie or two and took a look around the shop."

Doodle Pantry has kindly provided a $15 gift voucher for use in their online shop.

Our second sponsor is Karen's Doodles:

Karen Johnson has been drawing all of her life. She has worked on the feature film, "Ferngully The Last Rainforest" and has created animations for Disney, Fisher Price, and Mattel. She has illustrated several children's books and is currently teaching animation at a college in Wisconsin. She started Karen's Doodles so she could share her whimsical drawings with crafters from around the world.

Karen's Doodles has generously offered a prize of 3 digi images of choice.

It's now time to announce the winner for September's challenges: Congratulations to JLJ Designs! Please contact Regan or Susan to claim your prize.

Guys aren't about flowers and fluff. Guys are our heroes, our fighters, our beer chuggers and bug squashers.
Dude Time Doodles and Bonibleaux Designs have paired together to bring you Manly Man cards and gift ideas. We'll throw the gals an occasional froufrou image but we are really all about the "Dudes" here.
Dude Time Doodles are very kindly offering a $10 gift certificate to September's winner!

And here's some info about our second sponsor, Paper MakeUp Stamps:
